This project involved the design of complex temporary works schemes to remove the existing ground floor reinforced concrete slab across the footprint of the proposed building. This introduced significant engineering challenges to our team as the basement levels beneath were occupied by a large international banking group.

In addition, the package involved the construction of new suspended lift shafts and complex alterations to the support columns to carry the multi level structural steel frame above.
