Kilnbridge is a construction and engineering business. Operating as a turnkey specialist structures contractor, we undertake demolition and enabling works, complex structural alterations, civil engineering and infrastructure works, reinforced concrete basements, sub and superstructure frame construction and structural steelwork along with dedicated business units in concrete cutting, passive fire protection and waste management.
We have developed a reputation for providing engineered solutions for the successful delivery of complex construction and civil engineering projects in very challenging environments whilst placing great emphasis on safety, quality and innovation.
We deliver certainty with our rigorous processes and procedures and work collaboratively with our clients to develop solutions that deliver value. Working in all industry sectors, our unique capabilities have been developed over many years to meet the ever-changing needs of our clients and the markets in which we operate.
Kilnbridge has been involved in the delivery of many construction and civil engineering packages on major infrastructure and development schemes. These include the London 2012 Olympics, Thameslink Rail Upgrade Programme, King’s Cross redevelopment, Crossrail programme and most recently, the multi-million pound Wood Wharf development as part of the Canary Wharf Estate.

Having worked in the rail sector nationally for many years, the continued investment in infrastructure expansion and improvements remains important to our growth and sustainability. We continually invest in performance improvement to meet the demands of this safety critical and highly regulated environment.
We have successfully delivered a wide range of projects and construction services for HS2, Network Rail, Crossrail and TfL on the London Underground and Overground.
Kilnbridge has a diverse portfolio of projects successfully delivered for many of the UK’s major airports, most notably Heathrow, Gatwick and London City. We understand the unique issues that our clients and all stakeholders face in these highly regulated environments. We therefore work closely at all stages of the project to deliver it safely and to the highest standards with minimal disruption and environmental impact. We are a registered company on the Heathrow ID Scheme for airside working.
Kilnbridge are currently undertaking the construction of London City Airport Development Programme. The scope includes the construction of two new Energy Centres, extension of the existing main terminal building both to the east and west and associated airside and landside works with complex marine piling and stitch connections. In addition, we will be constructing 500 linear meters of New East Pier structure to accommodate an additional 8 new plane stands.
Our diverse and innovative approach has complemented the needs of this highly challenging and regulated sector.
The design and build of high tolerance raft slabs to nuclear and seismic specification at Sizewell provided a practical and deliverable construction solution whilst complying with the vigorous safety and quality demands associated with this environment.
At Hinkley Point C we are pushing rebar installation techniques on the Intake and Outfall heads project. The densely populated rebar sections (some exceeding 800kg/cu m) and minutely accurate placement of every single bar make this the most complex reinforcement installation across the whole HPC project.
We have also provided planning and preconstruction advice in addition to the delivery and execution of efficient foundation and structural solutions within the expanding and demanding energy from waste market.
