Our project at Water Street Bridge in Wood Wharf has been shortlisted in the Project of the Year by a Specialist Contractor (Subcontract from £3m to £5m) category at the 2019 Construction News Specialist Awards! This was a project that involved the construction of a semi-submerged abutment, bascule chamber and marine deck.

The festive season truly began at Kilnbridge yesterday evening as we held our annual Christmas party for staff and clients at Landing Forty Two in the Leadenhall Building.

Our new fleet of Mercedes Econic HGVs were on display at the Freight in the City conference at Alexandra Palace last week. They were exhibited by Sterling GP, who have fitted them with a beavertail body to improve their safety and efficiency.

For the second year running, we transported and installed a large 35-foot Christmas tree for St. Joseph's Hospice that will be used for their Christmas 'Light Up a Life' remembrance service on December 6.

Yesterday the entire Concrete Cutting team at Kilnbridge attended an in-house Safety Stand-Down Day at The Crowne Plaza Hotel in Docklands. The session offered a reminder and runthrough of our health and safety procedures as well as safety statistics and achievements for the past year.

One of our carpenters Lee Rowland recently spoke to BBC News about mental health issues in the construction industry. Lee battled anxiety for many years and now helps to spread awareness of mental health issues.
