This was a brownfield site redevelopment providing a mixed-use scheme to include retail and residential accommodation.
Our works comprised the construction of reinforced concrete substructures and superstructures, comprising five residential blocks and accommodating 252 residential units. All five structures were post-tensioned, including the raft slabs, which we believe was a first in the UK.
Collectively, the project involved the installation of 22,000m² of gross floor area (with 2,200m² of single-level, ground-floor car parking), 14,071m³ of concrete, 2,050 tonnes of reinforcements and 47,860m².
