A larger and more accessible Blackfriars station was constructed to accommodate more than 40,000 passengers each day. Kilnbridge offered an on-site waste management consultation service to identify the most cost-effective and environmentally friendly way of managing waste streams.
Our service comprised the removal and recycling of hazardous shot-blasting grit and included:
- A 100% non-landfill alternative for the disposal of spent shot blast. This offered the client significant savings in terms of both landfill tax cost and carbon footprint.
- Bespoke landfill diversion and final destination reports, facilitating a rigorously managed and audited chain of custody process.
- A “one-stop shop” for the collection and segregation of all waste paint and hazardous COSHH waste.
