Scope of works

Working directly for Westfield, the Kilnbridge scope included:

  • Installation of multiple hoarding
  • Isolation and re-routing of existing services
  • Installation of new landlord services
  • Soft strip/ demolition including removal of existing mezzanine slab
  • Concrete infills
  • Supply, manufacture and installation of structural steels combined with strengthening of existing
  • Reconfiguration of Back of House and IT walls
  • Creation of new 2-hour fire-rated bulkhead
  • Removal of existing lift

Challenges/ Achievements

  • Live shopping centre environment
  • Day and night shifts to achieve a 26-week programme
  • Stringent control of dust, noise and hot works
  • All waste arising was processed Kilnbridge’s in-house waste management business and recycled
