This included developing the design brief for the fire protection and fire prevention package. One particular challenge was the requirement to develop and install a specialist fire and waterproof expansion seal to provide dynamic joint protection to the building movement joints.

The final design included fire stopping measures to achieve a range of fire ratings from one to four hours, acoustic requirements, air pressure requirements and building movements as set out in the Fire Strategy and Acoustic Specification.

As a registered company on the Heathrow ID Scheme, we have a successful history of working at Heathrow Airport during its continued regeneration and expansion and have also completed other fire protection projects for Heathrow Airport.
