The UK’s leading structures specialist Kilnbridge has announced its relocation to a larger office in Lisburn, marking a significant milestone as the company celebrates ten years in the city.
The move to Ballinderry Road, Lisburn, reflects Kilnbridge’s sustained growth and long-term commitment to Northern Ireland. The new premises will provide capacity for up to 24 employees – double the current team of 12 – creating space for future expansion.
Kilnbridge delivers engineering, design and construction services across a range of sectors. The company works with many of the nation’s leading infrastructure clients and major contractors, with its teams supporting complex, large-scale projects nationwide. The team in Lisburn provides technical design services, with projects including Crossrail Whitechapel, Heathrow Airport, Old Oak Common Station for HS2 and Beaulieu Park Station.
Since establishing its Lisburn presence in 2016, Kilnbridge has built a highly skilled team that plays a vital role in supporting the company’s projects across the UK. The investment in a larger office reflects the strategic importance of the Lisburn team within the wider business.
The opening of the new office was marked by a ribbon-cutting ceremony attended by senior representatives from across Kilnbridge, including Chief Executive Owen Dannatt, Managing Director of Kilnbridge Design and Engineering Richard Garvey and Head of Design Management Peter Adams.
Peter, who has been with the Kilnbridge Lisburn team since the beginning and was instrumental in opening the original office a decade ago, commented: “To open our new office in Lisburn during our 10th anniversary year here is a very proud moment for everyone involved.
Over the past decade, we’ve built a strong, highly capable team that plays a crucial role in delivering complex projects for Kilnbridge across the UK. This new space not only reflects how far we’ve come but also gives us the capacity to grow further. We’re continuing to invest in our people and our capabilities and that will bring new job opportunities as we continue to expand.”
Owen Dannatt Chief Executive Officer at Kilnbridge added “The relocation into larger premises in Lisburn is a clear sign of our continued growth in the region and our confidence in its long-term potential. We’ve built a strong base here over a number of years and this move allows us to go further. We are creating space for new roles and career pathways at every level, from apprentices and early careers through to experienced technical professionals. It’s about strengthening what we already have and backing the people who will drive our next phase of growth.”
