On Friday, 26th August 2022, I went to an event organised by Lilia Frunzo (Skills, Employment and Education Manager- Align) at Colne Valley, whereby I had the opportunity to meet some potential candidates for our apprenticeships.
We provide candidates with a clear understanding of the types of work we do by showing them our working areas and what we build on-site. They were then able to appreciate what is involved in the Steel-Fixing and Formwork roles.
The new candidates also had the opportunity to speak to our current Steel Fixing apprentices, Nazil Sahal and Amin Gele; who readily shared their experiences. Furthermore, our Formwork Apprentice, Samuel Morgan also shared his experiences and knowledge; which provided the group with an in-depth understanding of life as an apprentice at Kilnbridge.
Finally, Andrew Tysoe (Supervisor/Forman), conducted a fantastic tour of the Colne Valley site, detailing key information including the progression of the project and also the scope of works which Kilnbridge are delivering.
