Goodluck Hope – Blocks J, K & L

Scope of works

Goodluck Hope is a riverside development in the historic Leamouth Peninsula in Poplar which provides 841 new homes, 2,300m² of commercial space, 235m² of education floorspace, a brewery and the restored Grade II listed Orchard Dry Dock.

Kilnbridge were contracted to complete a substructure package for Blocks J, K and L comprised of bulk excavation and waterproofing works and the construction of pile caps, ground beams and a ground bearing slab with vertical elements up to and including the transfer slab.

Challenges/ Achievements

• Successfully maintained progress and completed on time despite access restrictions
• Effective collaboration with enabling works and precast frame contractors to manage challenging logistical restrictions
