Scope of works
One Nine Elms is a mixed-use scheme currently under construction in Nine Elms, London. On completion, One Nine Elms’ landmark towers will be the tallest residential towers in Europe.
Kilnbridge were engaged to undertake the site wide enabling works contract. The scope included the following:
- Site hoardings and gates
- Service isolations
- Soft strip
- Asbestos removal
- Demolition of numerous structures
- Pile mats and stability berms
- Crossovers and haul road construction
- Construction of the bentonite farm slab
- Construction of site accommodation foundations for a 5-storey structure.
Challenges / Achievements
- Successful delivery of soft-strip, demolition, infrastructure and construction works through Kilnbridge in-house companies
- Collaborative management of significant scope changes and development
