Scope of works
Manchester New Square is a development comprising three residential buildings surrounding a landscaped square. The redevelopment of the site created a high quality new mixed-use scheme to complement the surrounding historical areas within Manchester City Centre.
Kilnbridge were appointed to carry out fire stopping works to the architectural precast concrete cladding panels and concrete tracery panels. This included installing slab edge fire protection using a CW-FS120 horizontal firestop and thermal insulation to the inside of the cladding panels. Kilnbridge also installed cavity barrier systems.
