Kilnbridge provided assistance in developing Grip 3 costing options and also advised on the practicalities of the various proposed strengthening options and was thereafter appointed to deliver this programme of strengthening works.

Our works involved initial surveying, design development, manufacture and finally on-site installation of additional structural steel work to the underside of the structures, followed by a process of transferring load into the new elements.

Each structure had its own unique set of issues meaning that the design and scope of the works, along with access restrictions, required us to keep a very flexible approach to the contract.
